Investigator Resources Limited (ASX: IVR) is a metals explorer focused primarily on the Gawler Craton of South Australia. This highly-endowed, mineral-rich province offers development and discovery opportunities in a data-rich jurisdiction that is supportive of investment in the mining industry.

Investigator’s primary focus is advancing its 100%-owned Paris Silver Project, located ~70km north of Kimba in South Australia.

In July 2023, Investigator reported an updated Mineral Resource estimate of 24Mt @ 73g/t silver and 0.41% lead for 57Moz of silver and 99kt of lead. This resource will underpin the Paris Silver Project Definitive Feasibility Study that is currently being prepared and will provide updated project metrics and financial outcomes. The previous Paris Mineral Resource estimate (released June 2021) was used in the Paris Silver Project Pre-Feasibility Study (announced in November 2021), delivering outstanding results and highlighting the low-risk nature of developing the high-grade, near surface resource through open pit mining and conventional processing technologies. The Base Case (“Whole of Ore Leach”) processing consists of a simple processing circuit with robust silver recoveries.

The Uno Morgans exploration tenement package, some 80km to the east of Paris, has undergone a revitalisation following the success of the 2022 drilling program. Reported in July 2022, intersections of 12m @ 240g/t silver at the Twelve Mile prosect and 123m @ 0.48% zinc at Uno North prospect have highlighted the exciting exploration potential of this district that has seen little exploration over the last decade.

In total, Investigator hold approximately 7,200km2 of exploration tenements across South Australia. To focus resources and maximise the potential for discovery, two areas – Stuart Shelf and Folwer Domain – are subject to farm-out agreements where all costs and risks are borne by other parties, with Investigator maintaining exposure to discovery success.
