Investigator Resources Limited (ASX Code: IVR) is a metals explorer focused on the Gawler Craton of South Australia and the West Coast of Tasmania. These two highly endowed, mineral rich provinces offer discovery opportunities in data rich and supportive jurisdictions.
Investigator’s primary focus is advancing its 100% owned Paris Silver Project, located approximately 70kms north of the township of Kimba in South Australia.
Discovered in 2011, in April 2017 the Investigator announced a significant upgrade of the Mineral Resource estimation for the Paris Silver Project to 9.3Mt at 139g/t silver and 0.6% lead for 42Moz contained silver and 55kt contained lead (at a 50g/t silver cut-off ). The Indicated Resource component is estimated at 4.3Mt @ 163g/t silver and 0.6% lead for 23Moz contained silver and 26kt contained lead.
In late 2020 Investigator commenced a significant drilling program as the initial step of completion of the Pre-Feasibility Study for the Paris Silver Project. This 25,000m infill drill program has the objective of further increasing the Indicated Resource and will underpin the advancement of metallurgical studies and plant and infrastructure design. Both potential extensions to the Paris deposit and nearby satellite exploration targets were drilled with the objective of expanding the silver resource. Encouraging results from this work will see further drilling undertaken in 2011.
The Board and Senior Management include accomplished professionals with strong track records in the areas of exploration, mine development and operations and finance. As at 31 March 2021 Investigator has a total of 5 staff, including four geologists, providing the knowledge and creativity foundation for the Company, supplemented by consultants and contractors.
